Why We're Different
We here at Pass Pictures have come to realize that it may be a bit confusing for our viewers to distinguish between Pass Pictures, and Pass Pictures Entertainment. While they share (basically) the same name, there are some substantial differences, and we thought it would be a grand idea to take some time out to highlight those differences for you and eliminate any possible confusion.
First, let's just say the obvious: Pass Pictures is a production company, and Pass Pictures Entertainment is a network. PPE is where all the shows produced by us (Pass Pictures) and various other production companies, and those created by the show owners, actually air. You can go to PPE at any time for updated news about any of your favorite shows, and to find the latest episode of the week. Pass Pictures, on the other hand, is simply a place that will serve as an outlet for press releases from the Angel and Faith camps, as well as from other shows like EOD and Destiny.
Secondly, the jobs. PPE's job is to air the shows it picks up and to promote them. Pass Pics job is to produce said shows, give guidance to the creators/writers when it is needed, and to further serve as an outlet for news and updates when necessary.
Thirdly, producing shows. Shows produced by Pass Pictures may or may not have a "Produced by Pass Pictures" credit when they air. We do encourage this step, not only to get our name out there but so that viewers know when they see that credit that they are viewing a quality show. PPE also produces shows, but produces them from the network directly. When PPE picks up a show to air, they automatically give their seal of approval and agree to move that show into production for future airing. Pass Pics is more of a "Consulting Producer", as our staff gives the show help when needed.
PPE is an extension of Pass Pics, in its original form. This site you are viewing now is the ORIGINAL Pass Pictures site, and PPE simply evolved from this site and merged with the old VTV/VTN network to become PPE. Basically, what all the mumbo above says is that the two companies are, in fact, two separate entities, but they also are linked together because both companies want to bring the highest quality series' to your computer screen.
